The v1.9 update brings several new features to make managing your collection in-app easier and more flexible.

You can now create new collections and sub-collections directly in the app. Existing (sub)collections can also be edited or removed, giving you full control over how your cards are organized without relying on the web version.

Cardmarket filters are now configurable inside the app. These settings are automatically applied when you open Cardmarket from TCG Codex, based on your current subscription.

For cards in your collection, you can add extra details such as condition, language, and personal notes, making your collection more detailed and accurate.

Finally, the UI has been refined to ensure a consistent look across all screens, with improved color clarity and readability, especially in Dark Mode.

Building TCG Codex is awesome. However, it comes with a cost. Servers, licenses, marketing-budget, etc. This is all paid out-of-pocket, and we're not taking costs for development into account here.

To pay for all this, we've introduced TCG Codex Premium, and many members support us on a monthly or yearly basis, which helps to cover a big part of these costs.

Unfortunately, our costs rise a lot. Not only because of inflation, but also with the growth of the platform (which is a good thing)! This is why we've making some updates to our subscription plans, starting January 2026.

Existing subscriptions will have no price increase, and no features will be disabled From January on, new subscriptions will be in one of three tiers:

• Premium: 2.99 /month - 29.99 /year (new members only)
• Elite: 4.99 /month - 49.99 /year
• Enterprise: 249.99 /year

Between Premium and Elite, the plans mostly differs between the amount of historic data you have access to (e.g. in price charts), and the amount of cards you can list in FairTrade. With the release of new features, differences between Premium and Elite will increase.

We're also introducing an Enterprise plan. This plan is mainly for businesses that use our platform, i.e. commercial use. You want to save time and money filling your webshop automatically with product info? Selling an app that sends out market signals for cards? We can provide you with the necessary data!
